This is how, two years later, you have the privilege of sleeping in those \u00abhawaiian brewery dorms\u00bb !<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Personal message to our fellow guests: <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\">the first one that brings a 6 pack of Longboard or Castaway beers will get a free night at Nami House<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">\u00a0!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><em>Ch\u00e2teau La Dominique<\/em> bedside tables<\/h2>\n<p>For those of you who noticed it, Nami House <strong>bedside tables<\/strong> are made of <strong>wine boxes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, the ones in Big Wave dormitory\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: inherit;\">are made of\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: inherit;\">Ch\u00e2teau La Dominique wine boxes,<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: inherit;\">\u00a0a really good wine with boxes kept in my family for generations &#8211; unfortunately as for bottles, boxes were empty in the first place, it looked terrible !<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why we decided:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>To sow a lawn<\/strong>\u00a0so that you can relax in the deck chairs: the 4 tons of earth we had to carry away to elevate the ground level was quite a challenge !<\/li>\n<li><strong>To build a terrace<\/strong> so that you can enjoy the sunset and a glass of beer (hopefully a Hawaiian one \ud83d\ude09 )&#8230;<span style=\"line-height: inherit;\">\u00a0pretty easy when you\u2019ve got a friend who is <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: inherit;\">able to build such a terrace within a As beer lovers, we found out about a local brewery (<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: inherit;\">Kona Brewing Co.<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: inherit;\">) making some really good beers.<\/span>\n\nNames of the beers were as follows:\u00a0<strong>Fire Rock,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Big Wave,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Longboard &amp;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Castaway.<\/strong>\n\n<img class=\"alignleft wp-image-1476 \" src=\"https:\/\/nami-house-anglet.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/nami-house-biarritz-big-wave-hawaiian-beer-room-name-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"hawaiian beer dorm name &quot;big wave&quot;: tropical blue door plate on a red door\" width=\"383\" height=\"255\" \/>\n\nSince we really liked the packaging (and the content ;-) ), we decided to bring them back to France. This is how, two years later, you have the privilege of sleeping in those \"hawaiian brewery dorms\" !\n\n<span style=\"font-size: revert;\">Personal message to our fellow guests: <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\">the first one that brings a 6 pack of Longboard or Castaway beers will get a free night at Nami House<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">\u00a0!<\/span>\n<h2><em>Ch\u00e2teau La Dominique<\/em> bedside tables<\/h2>\nFor those of you who noticed it, Nami House <strong>bedside tables<\/strong> are made of <strong>wine boxes<\/strong>.\n\nIn particular, the ones in Big Wave dormitory\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: inherit;\">are made of\u00a0<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: inherit;\">Ch\u00e2teau La Dominique wine boxes,<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: inherit;\">\u00a0a really good wine with boxes kept in my family for generations - unfortunately as for bottles, boxes were empty :-( .<\/span>\n\n[gallery columns=\"2\" size=\"large\" ids=\"3636,3639\"]\n<h2>What can I do with wood pallets?<\/h2>\nEven if it takes more time than it looks like, <strong>it is crazy what you can do with wood pallets:<\/strong>\n\n[gallery columns=\"2\" size=\"large\" ids=\"3558,3657,3648,3654,3651\"]\n<h2><img class=\"alignright wp-image-2102 \" src=\"https:\/\/nami-house-anglet.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/nami-house-anglet-fanny-painting-outdoor-wall-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"fanny from nami house hostel painting the wall in white outside\" width=\"452\" height=\"254\" \/>Do you like painting?<\/h2>\n<blockquote>Wanna repaint your house? Ask for Nami House crew !<\/blockquote>\nDon\u2019t know if you\u2019ve ever tried to paint your toilet, bedroom or even the living room ?\n\nMost of the time it goes the same:\n\nFirst of all you go to the shop to choose which colour you\u2019re gonna pick up...\u00a0Then you quickly realize that when it comes to painting, <strong>this is not painting strictly speaking which takes time, but mostly preparing everything,\u00a0<\/strong>protecting the furniture and putting back everything afterward.\n\n<img class=\"alignleft wp-image-2103 \" src=\"https:\/\/nami-house-anglet.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/nami-house-anglet-painting-rooms-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"two nami house friends painting a room in white\" width=\"484\" height=\"272\" \/>\n\n<strong>Then think about doing that for a 160m2 house :-? ? <\/strong>Well, that\u2019s what we did !
